The US vs. The Holy Land Five tells the story of a United States federal case against Five Palestinian-American men who founded a charity called The Holy Land Foundation (HLF) to help “disadvantaged, disinherited, and displaced peoples suffering from man-made and natural disasters.’’

The story begins in 1989 with the founding of the Holy Land Foundation, which became the largest Islamic charity in the United States, and the story continues to the arrest and trials of the founders. Headquartered in Richardson, Texas, the Five men were wrongfully accused of donating money to Hamas.
